Ronald Araujo has jetted back to Barcelona after spending time in Uruguay on holiday where he also married his long-time partner Abigail Olivera.
While Araujo has been away, there’s been plenty of talk about a possible exit in the summer transfer window.
There are whispers that Juventus are set to reignite their interest in the defender, particularly as Deco has suggested a center-back must be sold this summer.
Araujo has posted an update on social media, showing the defender’s view as he jets back home. The message is: “We return home with our batteries recharged.”
According to Mundo Deportivo, Araujo could get back to work as early as next week, two weeks ahead of the planned return of Hansi Flick and his team.
The Uruguay international has apparently told Barca he wants two weeks of preparation before pre-season to ensure he’s physically ready after an injury-hit campaign last time around.
