**Newcastle United's Tino Livramento played 120 minutes for England U21s in the European Championships final in Bratislava helping the Young Lions to retain their title.**
England got off to a flying start against Germany with Harvey Elliott continuing his goalscoring form and netting after just five minutes.
Omari Hutchinson doubled the lead 20 minutes later and it looked as though Lee Carsley's lads were cruising to victory.
However, the German's have an in-form forward of their own and Nelson Weiper pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time to give the German side hope.

England's U21s got off to a flying start thanks to Harvey Elliott
Germany pulled it back to send the game into extra time

Then, just beyond the hour mark, German levelled things up with an absolute belter of a strike from Paul Nebel.
With the score tied and Germany having struck the crossbar, the game made it to extra time where England wasted no time.
Substitute, Jonathan Rowe took just two minutes into extra time to score the winner with England able to see out the rest of extra time to hold on for the win.
Can Lewis Miley continue the England tradition in two years?

That's two England European Championship title wins and two Newcastle United lads heavily involved in it.
Tino Livramento gets to return to Darsley Park in a couple of weeks as a hero and it will no doubt give him the confidence to push on next season for his club.
Harvey Elliott picked up the Player of the Tournament which will probably add a few more quid onto his asking price if Newcastle are genuinely interested in the Liverpool star.
Congratulations to England U21s and let's see if Lewis Miley can continue the tradition in two years in Albania and Serbia.
