LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - Ekow Boye-Doe played nine straight seasons of football between the State of Kansas and Kansas City from his time at Lawrence High School to his year with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Boye-Doe played for the New York Giants last season before signing with the Arizona Cardinals this spring. He was back in the Sunflower State on Saturday for his second annual football camp at Lawrence High School.
“It was tough, I was just down the road in Kansas City which was nice, but now that I’m in Arizona it’s a lot different, my families back home, but it’s also a learning experience,” Boye-Doe told 13 Sports. “Which is nice, I’ve learned a lot, just how to go about things, and I’ve grown up a lot through it.”
Boye-Doe said he’s looking forward to competing against Marvin Harrison Jr. in practice and sharing a secondary with players such as Sean Murphy-Bunting.
