Bay High School alumni turned NFL pro hosts football and cheer camp

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A man who has played on football’s biggest stage was back in his hometown of Panama City Saturday, showing young kids what it takes to play with the best.

Janarius Robinson, a Bay High School standout at defensive end, is now a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Back in 2019, Robinson started the Win Within Foundation after Hurricane Michael.

The point of the organization is community service in Panama City through sports and school supply drives.

While the kids at the camp learned from some of the best, Robinson says the fulfillment is a two-way street.

“Man, it is just an amazing opportunity for guys to come out here and coach these kids up, you know, for one day out of the year,” said Robinson. “These kids come out and enjoy themselves and learn some techniques and fundamental football.”

There wasn’t just football being taught, with young girls of all ages learning and going over cheer techniques as well.
