LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) - Jacob Parrish played three seasons at K-State before being picked by the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s in April’s NFL Draft.
“It’s been very crazy, to be honest,” Parrish told 13 Sports. “If you told me a couple months ago that I’d be playing for Tampa bay, I wouldn’t believe that. But all glory to god and I’m excited for the next journey.”
Parrish was back in the Sunflower State to help his former K-State teammate Ekow Boye-Doe with his second-annual football camp at Lawrence High School. He’ll head to training camp next month.
“It’s been going pretty good, been trying to learn the scheme, just soaking it in, trying to learn from the vets. I’m just blessed I’m there and I’m trying to make an impact,“ Parrish said. ”Every little details matters. Attention to detail, just everything you do, man, it all comes together. How I approach every single day is the same, and I’m just trying to focus on the little things that’ll help me on Sundays."
