Leeds United reportedly want to sign Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic. It has been claimed the 25-year-old is the club's first-choice target for the No 9 position after impressing in Serie A last season, scoring 12 times and providing five assists in 38 matches.
Reports in Italy suggest Lecce have slapped a £29.9m price tag on Krstovic. It is thought United have yet to table a bid for the player.
If Leeds managed to get a deal done for Krstovic, he would lead the line and be used as the centre forward in a 'dream' attacking line-up for their first Premier League outing against Everton.
Behind him would be Emiliano Buendia. Leeds have been chasing the Argentine's services for some time and were close to signing him on loan from Aston Villa in January. Instead, Buendia opted to sign for Champions League side Bayer Leverkusen for the rest of the season.
Although Buendia's time at Leverkusen didn't go to plan, scoring just twice and providing zero assists in 14 outings, his stock is still high and Leeds are keen on signing him this summer. The 28-year-old doesn't feature as part of Unai Emery's long-term plans and Villa want £20m to cash-in.
He would be their 'dream' option for the attacking midfield role, with Manor Solomon alongside him on the left. There has been a lot of talk around Solomon's future this summer after his successful loan with Leeds - where he scored 10 goals and added 13 assists in 41 matches for the Whites.
While Solomon is keen to fight for his place at Tottenham, he could return to Leeds and make the permanent switch to Elland Road this summer. This is a move that the Whites should attempt to make, as he would make a massive difference to the Leeds attack in the Premier League next season.
Moving to the right, and Daniel James should keep his place after a sensational campaign. The Welshman has been inconsistent since his move from Manchester United, but he enjoyed a much improved season under Farke, ending with a respectable 12 goals and nine assists in 37 games.
Joel Piroe, Lukas Nmecha, Brenden Aaronson, Wilfried Gnonto and Largie Ramazani would act as back-up for Farke and Leeds, with Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph both sold.
