Jaka Bijol is in the door and signed. The Slovenian will be among the Leeds United players that return for pre-season on July 7, but there is a scenario in which Leeds need another centre-back.
Bringing Bijol to the club sees Daniel Farke’s numbers at centre-back solved. He has Joe Rodon and Bijol likely as his starting options, with Max Wober and Pascal Struijk cover for the starting duo next season.
But that could all change. Max Wober says Leeds have told him he will be sold, reducing that number back to three and then, Leeds have identified Pascal Struijk as a possible sale if they need some profit.
With a big summer of signings expected, the club’s PSR position will come under scrutiny. Struijk would represent a big profit, even if Leeds would rather keep him. But, Leeds may need another centre-back.

Leeds identify Brighton’s Igor as a possible summer signing
Uncapped Brazilian Igor has endured a difficult 12 months at Brighton, after what was an impressive first season. Injury limited 27-year-old Igor to just 13 Premier League appearances for Brighton last season.
Bought for £14.5m, Brighton are seemingly open to offers for Igor according to Brazilian outlet El Diario Vasco. They say that Real Sociedad are leading the charge to sign Igor, and Igor is open to a move there.
However, Igor also has Premier League interest with three clubs named – Leeds, Wolves and Crystal Palace. The former Fiorentina giant has two years remaining on his contract with Fabian Hurtzeler’s side.

Igor dreams of a move to another Premier League giant
Risking the wrath of Brighton fans earlier this summer, Igor spoke to Trivela about interest in his Brighton teammate Joao Pedro. Not only did he urge Pedro to leave Brighton, but he also picked a club for him.

He said he dreams of a move to Liverpool: “I would go to a Liverpool team and I think he would fit in perfectly at Liverpool. It’s because I’ve always dreamed of playing for Liverpool and I would go there.”
Igor is some way away from joining a club like Liverpool but there is every chance he leaves Brighton this summer, and Leeds are among the clubs interested in him. Whether Leeds solidify their interest is unclear.
