Big-earning Brazilian midfielder Casemiro is set to stay at Manchester United next season after being offered a World Cup lifeline by Carlo Ancelotti.

Casemiro, who collects a cool £350,000-a-week, was handed a shock recall by his country when his former Real Madrid boss named his first Brazil squad earlier this month.

Chelsea agree £55m deal

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jamie Gittens for £55million.

Gittens, 20, is now set to have a medical with the Blues at the Club World Cup, according to multiple reports.

The Englishman won't be able to play for Chelsea in the tournament, however, as he's already featured for Dortmund.

Mbeumo gets Man Utd approval

Manchester United stars Matheus Cunha and Joshua Zirkzee have both 'liked' a social media post regarding their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo.

United are keen to sign Mbeumo, 25, before they return for pre-season training next month, although Brentford are still holding out for a £63million package.

Should the winger end up at Old Trafford, he'll be welcomed by new team-mates Cunha and Zirkzee, who've shown their feelings.

The duo liked an Instagram post from journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool close in on Guehi

Liverpool's summer spending spree looks set to continue as they close in on a move for Marc Guehi.

The Crystal Palace defender has been linked with several top clubs after it became clear he was not going to extend his contract at Selhurst Park, which has only a year left to run.

But Liverpool are now in prime position and that talks between all parties will take place in the next 24 hours.
