Aston Villa are reportedly monitoring Harvey Elliott and the English attacker is expected to leave Liverpool this summer.
CaughtOffside reports that Villa are one of five clubs keeping an eye on Elliott's situation amid talk of an Anfield exit. The 22-year-old has struggled to reach expectations due to constant injury issues during his four-year spell on Merseyside.
Elliott only started two Premier League games last season and is set for an even tougher task to try and earn more game time should he stay. Florian Wirtz's arrival has only further jeopardized his first-team opportunities and it's believed the newly-crowned champions are prepared to sell for the right price.

Villa are being kept in the loop regarding Elliott's potential availability but Brighton & Hove Albion are frontrunners for the England U21 international. The Seagulls are said to be preparing a £40m offer, although Liverpool are holding out for £50m to sell.
Unai Emery has a track record of finding success with English talent struggling for various reasons. He handed Marcus Rashford an escape route from his Manchester United turmoil in January, but he's since returned to Old Trafford.

Elliott's stock was sky-high years ago when he first broke into Jurgen Klopp's first team, but recurring fitness troubles have halted his development. He could use a move to Villa Park to get his club career back on track while also offering Emery valuable depth in several positions, including out wide and in midfield.
The Englishman, hailed as a "special talent", is currently representing England at the U21 European Championships and has been a standout performer. He has made the most of the chance to play with four goals in five games, including a brace in a 2-1 win over the Netherlands in the semi-finals.
