Elliot Anderson was in action for England’s under-21s last night.
The Nottingham Forest star helped England beat Germany 3-2 in the UEFA European Championship final.
Elliot Anderson has been hugely impressive for Lee Carsley’s side this tournament, so much so that Newcastle United fans have been swarming to social media in dread.
Newcastle fans have found it hard to watch Anderson tear it up for the young Three Lions, as they can’t believe he was sold last summer.

Anderson produced another stellar performance for England’s under-21s, with The Express giving him a near-perfect rating.

Harvey Elliot, who scored in three consecutive games including the final, was awarded the Player of the Tournament, but many argued Anderson was equally deserving.
He will now have an extended break before returning to the East Midlands for pre-season.
