Pedro Neto has shared a new message to Chelsea supporters following their Club World Cup victory against Benfica on 29 June.
Enzo Maresca’s side ran out 4-1 winners in Charlotte after Reece James’ second-half strike was met by a 95th-minute equaliser from Angel Di Maria.
As the game went into extra time, however, the Blues asserted their dominance as Christopher Nkunku, Neto and Kiernan Desbury-Hall all found the back of the net.
Chelsea have now advanced into the quarter-final where they will face Brazilian outfit Palmeiras in Philadelphia, with hopes of going all the way.

Pedro Neto shares Chelsea post after Club World Cup display
Neto’s strike against Benfica has moved him up to joint-second in the Club World Cup’s Golden Boot race with three goals, alongside the likes of Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala.
Di Maria currently leads the race, having scored four goals in his four appearances, but could be set to miss out following his side’s elimination from the competition.

Neto’s other strikes came in their opening-game win against LAFC and the frustrating defeat against Flamengo when Nicolas Jackson was controversially sent off.
Taking to Instagram following the win against Benfica, Neto shared Chelsea’s post captioned “Third goal in the Club World Cup for Pedro!” alongside a blue heart emoji.

Enzo Maresca eyes Joao Pedro deal as Newcastle hijack planned
While their Club World Cup progress continues to make headlines, the Blues are also working hard behind the scenes to strengthen Maresca’s squad.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Chelsea are considering an offer for Joao Pedro and are prepared to beat Newcastle to the deal.
Maresca is keen to add to his attacking options after completing a deal for Liam Delap amid growing uncertainty over Nicolas Jackson’s future.
Brown told Football Insider last month that Pedro wants to leave Brighton and join Chelsea as he plans to make the step up to a bigger team.
