**Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento lifted his second trophy of the season last night in Bratislava as he helped England's Under 21s retain their European Championships title.**
Livramento was a key performer for England throughout the tournament, playing at both left and right back as he has done for Newcastle.
Missing just one game in the group stages when Lee Carsley rested a couple of players, Livramento was able to play out the entire 120 minutes of the final after it went to extra time, although he was suffering from cramp badly at the full-time whistle.
It didn't take long for him to brush that aside, though, and the celebrations began with Tino posting a photo to his [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/stories/tinolivramento/) story of Elliot Anderson and him having a well-earned drink with a caption that Newcastle fans will love.

Geordie Boys taking the ....
----------------------------
Referencing a well-known Newcastle United chant, Tino posted the image alongside former Magpie Elliot Anderson, who likely gave Harvey Elliott a run for player of the tournament.
Just one year on from having to sell him for PSR reasons, seeing Anderson perform so well on the international stage will likely have poured salt into some wounds that still haven't fully healed.
We're not usually ones to hang on to a player after they've gone, but the Anderson move still hurts mostly because we know that nobody at Newcastle wanted to do that deal but were forced to by the worst rule in football.
Newcastle got a bargain for Tino Livramento at £32 million
----------------------------------------------------------
On the plus side, it seems that Tino sees himself as a Geordie now, and his performances at the tournament will have put an extra few million on his valuation too, so Manchester City might as well give up and look elsewhere.
Eyebrows were raised when Newcastle paid Southampton £32 million for Livramento, given that he'd just recovered from a lengthy injury, but it was a risk that has clearly paid off.
Kieran Trippier can rest knowing that whatever happens next in his career, he's left Newcastle in safe hands - not that we're saying Trippier is leaving this summer, mind, we're talking about when it does happen, before a rumour starts.
