Channel 4 have released their TV viewing figures (see below) for England 3 Germany 2 on Saturday night.

**Channel 4 official release – 29 June 2025:**

_‘England’s dramatic U21 Euros Final win in Slovakia attracted huge audiences at home._

_Initial overnight stats show that 3.7m people (37% of all viewers watching tv!) tuned in to watch England U21’s thrilling win against Germany in the U21 Euros Final._

_The programme, which ran to three and a half hours (7.30-11pm) due to extra time, had an average audience of 2.4m which was 24% of the total tv audience._

_The coverage attracted a peak audience of 3.7m – the highest peak of any programme shown on tv on Saturday._

_It was also the most popular programme for people aged between 16-34 with more than a third of that audience (36%) gripped by England’s heroics – this was the highest 16-34 share average audience of any programme on Saturday._

_For the actual match (rather than the programme with build-up and post-match analysis) there was an average audience of 2.8m.’_
