Dominic Calvert-Lewin has finally confirmed his exit from Everton.

The Englishman saw out his contract at Goodison Park after negotiations failed to end in an agreement over a new deal.

As a result, an exit has been in the pipeline for many weeks as David Moyes began to search for an alternative ahead of the new season.

Now, the 28-year-old has reached out on social media to wave goodbye to the Toffees ahead of landing at a new destination this summer.

This saw him share a message which featured a message saying, “Thank you for everything,” while also expressing how proud he was to play for the famous Blues.

This now leaves the forward in need of a new club, with a number of outfits from the Premier League and beyond showing an interest.

There is every chance that the newly promoted outfits, Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland, will want the Englishman on a free contract.

With the latest statement from Calvert-Lewin, this interest is only likely to step up in the coming days and weeks as the window ticks on.

It is fair to say that the 28-year-old has been far from his best in recent years, last showcasing his talent in blue under Carlo Ancelotti.

Since then, the ex-Sheffield United youngster has failed to net even 10 in a season as injury issues have begun to take a hold on Merseyside.
