Nottingham Forest are expected to be very busy this summer transfer window.
Evangelos Marinakis is ready to back Nuno Espirito Santo with a substantial budget after qualifying for Europe.
Marinakis wants to make Nottingham Forest consistent challengers at the top end of the table and already, that ambition is being reflected in the transfer market.
Forest are set to sign Igor Jesus from Botafogo and his teammate Jair Cunha is also expected to make a switch to the City Ground.
Now, Nuno Espirito Santo has added another striker to his shortlist and they have reportedly made a move.

Nottingham Forest ‘make a move’ for Lyon striker Georges Mikautadze
Nottingham Forest are surprisingly still shopping for a striker as they look to add real depth up front.
Chris Wood, Igor Jesus and Taiwo Awoniyi are the current options and now, according to TEAMtalk, they’re looking to add Lyon’s Georges Mikautadze to their ranks.

The report claims that Forest are the latest club to ‘make a move’ for the in-demand Georgia international, who enjoyed a prolific season with the French giants.
47 appearances
17 goals
11 assists
Lyon have just been demoted to the second tier of French football due to financial issues, so they’re being forced to sell their prized assets, and Mikautadze is one who will leave for a discounted fee.
The 24-year-old is valued at around £21m, with AS Roma and Eintracht Frankfurt among the other clubs circling.
Mikautadze was Euro 2024 Golden Boot winner
Mikautadze became the first Georgian in history to win the Golden Boot award at the European Championships last summer.
He netted three goals in just four games, with his nation exiting against the eventual winners Spain in the round of 16.
Indeed, it was an award shared with five other players, but only Slovakia’s Ivan Schranz could match Mikautadze’s goal-to-game ratio.
If Forest were to land his signature, it’d be a real coup and given his versatility, being able to operate as a winger and number 10, it wouldn’t limit the minutes of Wood, Jesus or Awoniyi.
The 37-cap international could play in a front two.
