Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has assessed the Getafe midfielder’s fitness from last season ahead of a potential medical.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Uche: “He suffered a hamstring injury in the game against Real Madrid but then bounced back to start and play 82 minutes in the next one.

“Apart from that, he was relatively injury-free all season.

“He should have no issues clearing his medical.”

Everton must act quickly to sign Uche

Uche would be a stellar signing for Everton due to his versatility, energy and tactical maturity.

His stats highlight his ability to contribute offensively and defensively, ranking in the 93rd percentile for successful take-ons.

The 22-year-old’s pace and physicality suit David Moyes’ hardworking Everton side, offering a long-term midfield anchor.

However, signing him ahead of Chelsea and Newcastle poses challenges.

Both clubs, with deeper financial resources and Champions League football, have kept tabs on Uche and he may prefer joining them.

Everton’s 13th-place LaLiga finish and potential PSR constraints make it tough to outbid rivals, requiring a focus on game-time promises to lure Uche.
