Lana Del Rey was spotted holding hands with Liverpool FC legend Sir Kenny Dalglish after her magical performance at Anfield stadium. The 'Born to Die' singer was seen smiling, holding hands and greeting Sir Kenny which was snapped and shared to an Instagram fan account @lanaboards.

Although this was Lana Del Rey's first time on stage performing at the ground, it wasn't her first time visiting the home of the Reds. Lana last visited Anfield in 2013 when she met then captain Steven Gerrard.

She came to Liverpool to watch Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur, revealing on a pre-match guided tour of the ground that it was her first time at Anfield. Lana also performed a version of You’ll Never Walk Alone for a documentary to mark the club’s Premier League title win in 2020.

During her show at Anfield stadium last night, The US star addressed the crowd after the second song of her set to highlight that the former Reds forward and manager was "in the building." As she spoke to the crowd following Henry, Come On she said: "I hear we have a legend in the building tonight? King Kenny."

She added "we're gonna find him later", before explaining she was about to perform her third track, a cover of Tammy Wynette's Stand By Your Man, which she confirmed will be on her upcoming album.

Earlier, she said: "Liverpool I am so excited to be here tonight." Doors to Anfield Stadium opened at 5pm - but eager fans queued outside the ground for hours before gates opened to try and secure their places at the front of the crowd.

The star did infact find the Liverpool legend after the show. However, some fans did express in the comments how they wished the star had performed "You'll Never Walk Alone."

In the Instagram comments, the user said: "Love our beautiful Queen but wish she would've sung You'll Never Walk Alone in Liverpool."

A second comment agreed: "That would've been a perfect closing."
