Athletic Club supporters have vandalized a Nico Williams mural for a third time amid continued talk of a move to Barcelona.
The club condemned those involved the first time it happened and quickly worked on restoring it, only to see it attacked and defaced with the words: “F***ing rat.”
Another message has now been left, with fans making their feelings clear about the Spain star: “Nico, leave. We will defend our shield at all times.”
Williams may indeed leave next week. It’s been reported that Barcelona plan to activate his release clause in the first few days of July and will bring him to Camp Nou.
In the meantime, the Spain star appears to be distancing himself from all the speculation about his future on holiday. Williams has posted images on social media showing him enjoying himself with the words: “Living life.”
