Indiana Pacers superstar point guard Tyrese Haliburton is in the midst of his long road to recovery from a devastating torn Achilles injury he suffered in Game 7 of the NBA finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Haliburton recently invested in a bell to signal when he needs his girlfriend Jade Jones’ help during his recovery.
“This guy did NOT order a bell guys please,” Jones captioned in a clip posted on X.
Jones, who has been by Haliburton’s side since their days at Iowa State University, has proven to show unwavering support throughout his recovery process.
Haliburton appears to be in good spirits as he continues to make light of what could otherwise be a dark situation.
The 25-year-old had a successful surgery on his Achilles tendon and vows to be the best version of himself when he returns from injury.
“I’m grateful for every single experience that’s led me here. I’m grateful for all the love from the hoop world. I don’t ‘have to’ go through this. I get to go through this. I’m grateful for the road that lies ahead. Watch how I come back from this. So, give me some time. I’ll dust myself off and get right back to being the best version of Tyrese Haliburton,” Haliburton wrote in an Instagram post.
While the path back to recovery may be long, Haliburton will lean on a positive mindset and a strong support system to get him through this minor setback on the way to a major comeback.
