Arsenal are preparing themselves for big-name arrivals in the attacking areas this summer, and various player sales are being considered to make room.
Andrea Berta is looking to reshape Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer to make sure they don’t come up short yet again in their pursuit of the Premier League title.
The Gunners are particularly working to sign attacking options, with a striker the main focus, alongside another left-wing starter.
The North Londoners will need to think about potentially offloading a few players to raise funds and make room in the squad, although one key asset won’t be allowed to leave for cheap.

Arsenal would want ‘monumental’ offer to sell Gabriel Martinelli
Arsenal would want a ‘monumental’ offer to sell Gabriel Martinelli to the Saudi Pro League, and even then, they would be unlikely to sell him, according to Charles Watts.
The Arsenal journalist also doubts the fact that the Brazilian would want to leave the Emirates Stadium for the Middle East.
The 24-year-old is believed to be ‘so happy’ playing for the Gunners and is just cementing his spot in the Brazilian squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Watts told his YouTube channel: “It would take a monumental offer, and we know Saudi have the capabilities to put in monumental offers for players, but even so.
“Also the thing with Gabriel Martinelli is that he’s so happy at Arsenal, I would be so surprised if the interest did step up and an offer did come in from Saudi for Gabriel Martinelli, I would be very, very surprised if this would be something he would consider at this stage of his career.
“I don’t think a move to Saudi would interest him and I would be very surprised if it was something Arsenal would consider.”
TBR Football understands that Martinelli is considering his options, with the North London club being linked to other left-wingers.
Therefore, an exit this summer is not impossible as he could suddenly face competition for his place in the team, however, the Saudi Pro League appears an unlikely destination.
Arsenal need Gabriel Martinelli for Mikel Arteta’s squad
Arsenal cannot afford to repeat the same mistake of selling Arteta short again by selling Martinelli, who’s been called ‘excellent’, and losing another option in his squad.
Last season, their title bid was derailed by so many injuries to their attacking players, which were further compounded by players being run into the ground.
Martinelli is not only a brilliant player with so much room for improvement still, but also a player who can fill several roles in the team.
Last term, the 24-year-old featured mostly as a right winger but could also fill in on the right side when required, while he can also play through the middle.
