With Ruben Amorim aiming to improve a team that struggled last season, Manchester United’s summer makeover is getting underway.
The Portuguese head coach is keen to cut the deadwood and raise money through player sales following the team’s disappointing 15th-place Premier League performance and Europa League final loss.
United is on the verge of signing Bryan Mbeumo and has already acquired Matheus Cunha, but further departures are required to satisfy Financial Fair Play requirements and accommodate more additions.
Although strengthening the midfield and defence is still the major priority, United is also focusing on its erratic forward line, especially one player who hasn’t produced in front of goal.
Manchester United is now willing to allow Rasmus Hojlund to leave this summer, but only at the correct price, thus he might be the next player to leave Old Trafford.
The Danish striker, who only scored four Premier League goals during a challenging 2024–25 season, is valued at £40 million by United.
The Red Devils have actively been looking for a new striker to lead the line for the upcoming season.
And now an opportunity may have appeared with a striker linked previously.
