Instead of exercising his $2.1 million team option for next season, the Thunder chose to negotiate a long-term raise.
The new deal was finalized with the help of agents Marcus Monk and Sean Kennedy of Excel Sports.
According to sources, the third year of the new contract will be a team option, giving Oklahoma City additional flexibility.
Last season, the 6-foot-9 frontcourt player averaged 5.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. He shot 43.9% from the field and an impressive 39.9% from beyond the arc.
