The Chicago Bulls made their first trade of the NBA offseason, sending Lonzo Ball to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Isaac Okoro. Even with one guard already traded, it appears that another deal could be on the horizon for Chicago this summer.
Bulls’ insider K.C. Johnson of CHSN.com writes that Chicago remains active in the trade market, with talks involving several of its players. While that does include Coby White, there’s reportedly more “chatter” about an Ayo Dosunmu trade.

White, age 25, is coming off a breakout season. The 6-foot-5 guard set career highs in scoring (20.4 PPG), three-pointers made (277), steals (69), and minutes played this past season. Under team control for next season at a $12.888 million salary, White has been eyed by multiple clubs.
Even with only one year left of contract control, Chicago appears inclined to keep the young guard, barring a strong offer. However, Dosunmu is readily available, with several clubs gauging the price of acquiring the 25-year-old guard.

Like White, Dosunmu is heading into a contract year with the Bulls. While he played well this past season, Chicago’s desire to re-sign Josh Giddey and Tre Jones has seemingly made Dosunmu available. While nothing is imminent, there appears to be a real possibility that Dosunmu is traded this summer.
