Rangers are reportedly keen on securing the services of Sunderland midfielder Nectarios Triantis.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has raved over his fitness record from the 2024/25 season, ahead of a potential medical.
The Australian spent last season on loan at Hibs, making 34 SPFL appearances.

Nectarios Triantis expected to clear medical this summer
Triantis’ stellar fitness record last season holds him in good stead to clear his medical, according to Dr Brar.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, exclusively told Ibrox News: “He was injury-free last season and that bodes well for any club looking to sign him.
“He was absent from international duty, citing an injury, but did not miss domestic action.
“I reckon he should clear his medical.”

Rangers can do better than Triantis this summer
Triantis could be a solid depth signing for Rangers, offering versatility across centre-back and defensive midfield roles.
His physicality, aerial ability and passing ability make him a reliable squad player, ideal for rotation in Gers’ demanding Scottish Premiership and European schedule.
However, to strengthen their starting eleven, the Ibrox side need higher-calibre options.
Triantis’ limited first-team impact at Sunderland suggests he’s not yet a guaranteed starter capable of elevating Russell Martin’s possession-based system.
To compete with Celtic and in Europe, Gers should target more established players who can walk into their playing eleven.
