Sources told ESPN, via Shams Charania, that Robinson plans to work with the Heat on a new deal, but he is also open to exploring opportunities with other teams.

By declining the option, Robinson gains the flexibility to negotiate a longer-term contract with Miami or test the free-agent market starting Monday night, including potential sign-and-trade deals.

Robinson, known for his sharpshooting, played a solid role for the Heat last season. He averaged 11.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game, while shooting an efficient 43.7% from the field and 39.3% from beyond the arc.

Last season, the Heat were swept 4-0 by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs.
