Dominic Calvert-Lewin is officially on the lookout for a new club after confirming his Everton exit.
The English striker announced he will bow out next week when his contract on Merseyside expires.
Calvert-Lewin shared the news he is leaving Everton via social media, with many current and former Toffees quick to reply.
While it has been expected Calvert-Lewin would depart for a long time now, the speculation over his next destination will now ramp up after the news was confirmed.
And it does not look as though the 28-year-old will be short of options ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Calvert-Lewin wanted by 15 clubs after Everton exit
Calvert-Lewin has been linked with a switch to Serie A in recent days, while a number of Premier League clubs have been linked.
Now, according to Mark McAdam, as many as 15 teams could be lining up to sign Calvert-Lewin on a free contract.
“This was a phenomenal piece of business for Everton, who paid about £1.5million for him in August 2016,” McAdam said on Sky Sports News (29 June, 7:13pm).
“Where can he go? Well pretty much anywhere he wants. There will be 10-15 teams in the Premier League and Europe asking ‘is Calvert-Lewin one for us? Is he someone we can afford?’.
“You feel he needs a this new challenge and you can still see the best from Dominic Calvert-Lewin. It has to be the right package for the club [he joins].
“If he wants to join a club on big money, he may struggle. But if he wants to be part of a project, with performance-related add-ons, you feel there’d be a lot of teams around the table for him.”
Calvert-Lewin cannot be blamed for not signing a new Everton contract, assuming one was ever offered, and he will be laughing at the sheer number of options now available to him.
Calvert-Lewin leaves a hole to be filled at Everton
If The Friedkin Group didn’t have their work cut out already this summer, they certainly do now.
A new striker was needed anyway, and now it will surely be a case of two being snapped up with Calvert-Lewin leaving.

Calvert-Lewin’s last three Everton seasons
Calvert-Lewin simply cannot be relied upon anymore to lead the line, but that is not to say he still cannot do a job at another Premier League club.
They key, of course, will be staying fit. If the England international can do that, he could easily bang in 10-plus goals in the Premier League next season – or whichever league he ends up in.
Everton fans will be grateful for all his years of service, for what was an incredibly small fee all things considered, and it will be intriguing to see exactly where he ends up.
