Reports claim that the two main options for this summer are Emi Buendia and Gus Hamer. Angers’ Himad Abdelli has also popped up on the radar recently. A decision will be made later in the window.

However, a surprise option could be on the card for Leeds. Journalist Jack Gaughan has reported that Manchester City value James McAtee at £25million. Leeds have been big fans of the player, and tried to sign him last summer. McAtee is expected to leave the Etihad this summer as he searches for playing time.

The attacking midfielder starred as England’s U21 side won the European Championships. Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen are said to be interested in a move for the 22-year old.

He had three goals and three assists in 20 starts in his first full season in the top flight. This shows that he would be a huge addition to this Leeds United team, if they can beat off competition from the German sides.
