Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho sent a message to former Red, Paul Pogba, after he ended his 18-month spell away from professional football. On Saturday, the France international signed a two-year deal with AS Monaco following his last competitive appearance in August 2023.
Since March, Pogba has been able to sign terms with a club after his ban for testing positive in a drug test was reduced from four years to 18 months, upon appeal. The sample came back during his time at Juventus for the prohibited substance DHEA.
The sentence was reduced after it was found, on review, that Pogba did not take the banned substance purposefully. A video from the Ligue 1 side showed the 32-year-old's emotional reaction after signing a contract until 2027.
Current and former players rushed to support Pogba after marking his comeback, among those was United attacker Sancho, who lauded his return.
"PP is back [cold emoji and red heart emoji]," the England international posted to his Instagram story.

He followed it up with a comment on the unveiling post on the same social media platform where he replied: "My brother! [red heart emoji]"
It isn't the first time that Sancho has fired a message of support to his former Old Trafford teammate.
With the Frenchman nearing a return in November, Sancho sent a message of support to Pogba saying: "I can't wait for you to return!"
Since then, he has been linked with different types of moves including a reunion with Mason Greenwood at Marseille, as well as the MLS, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
But now, he has completed a return back to France - where he will play in Ligue 1 for the first time after leaving Le Havre for United's academy.
