OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) - The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed forward and center Jaylin Williams to a multi-year contract extension.
According to team officials, the announcement was made on Sunday by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.
Williams is coming off the Thunder’s first championship season in Oklahoma City. During the season, Williams played a consistent role in the Thunder’s defensive scheme, posting 5.6 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 0.6 blocks a game.
He also showed improved consistency from the floor, shooting 43.9%
The Arkansas native and former Razorback was drafted 34th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Thunder.
