We asked supporters how much money they expected Leeds to spend on their front line striker this summer, with over 2,000 supporters taking part in our poll to give us their answer. Only three percent of supporters who took part think Leeds will spend less than £20m on a striker, which is a remarkable figure and shows how strong the feeling is the 49ers will invest significantly in a leading striker.
A figure of 43 percent expect Leeds to spend between £20m and £30m on a striker this transfer window, while 45 percent think that number will be between £30m and £40m on a player, which is entering record-breaking signing territory for Leeds if the figure pushes north of £35m and the figure paid for Georginio Rutter.
Just two percent think Leeds will spend over £50m on a striker, with seven percent expecting a price tag of £40m to £50m. It means 54 per cent of Leeds fans are expecting a deal either close to the club's record fee or above it for a new striker this summer.
