La Masia keeps on delivering the goods with youngsters breaking into the first team at Barcelona or moving on and providing extra income for the Catalans.
Lamine Yamal has become the latest academy graduate to take the world by storm, but there’s plenty more exciting talent coming through.
Let’s have a look at which players may get a chance in pre-season and potentially beyond as we head towards the 2025-26 campaign.

Barcelona starlet Toni Fernandez had already made history at the club - becoming the youngest scorer for Barca Atletic - by the time he made his first-team debut in January.
He promptly impressed his senior colleagues in the dressing room and was hailed as a “great talent” by Hansi Flick. Fernandez was then offically promoted to Barca Atletic in February and the next step will be to join the first team on a regular basis.
Fernandez is expected to make the pre-season tour to Asia and if he can impress there’s no doubt we should see more of him in 2025-26. The exciting youngster is still only 16 - he’ll turn 17 next month - but is clearly a big talent the club have high hopes for.
Jofre Torrents
Jofre Torrents is another player on the brink of the first team and who Barcelona have locked down to a new contract. He signed on until 2028 in May, a clear sign that he’s in the club’s plans for the future.
The left-back has already been described as a “mixture of Alejandro Balde and Gerard Martin” but will know he has work to do if he’s to gain some first-team minutes next season.
Yet Torrents played a starring role last season and is thought to have been one of the reasons why Barcelona haven’t signed a left-back this summer.
Jan Virgili

Another player very much in the spotlight right now is Jan Virgili. The teenager has been starring for Spain’s Under-19s at the Euros and has admitted during the tournament it would be a dream to be part of Flick’s pre-season tour squad.
Virgili is thought to have impressed Flick last season and will be hoping he can force his way into the senior squad. That may be tricky, as Barca hardly lack for talented wingers, but he certainly looks a real talent who deserves a look.
Quim Junyent
Just like Virgili, Quim Junyent also impressed at the Euros. The Barca midfielder bagged a hat-trick against Montenego and walked off with the MVP award in a stellar showing.
Flick has already cast his eye over Junyent in training, calling him up in January to join the first-team, and will surely have been watching his exploits with Spain with interest.
Ibrahim Diarra

There was plenty of buzz when Barca signed Ibrahim Diarra last year and even more when he helped the club win the UEFA Youth League last season.
The Malian wonderkid has already been compared to Rivaldo and Lamine Yamal - which probably isn’t particularly helpful - but there’s no doubt big things are expected of the 18-year-old.
Landry Farre

Versatile defender Landry Farre could also get the nod in pre-season. The 18-year-old defender was part of the UEFA Youth League winning side and also travelled with the Barca squad to Italy for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter last season.
Farre has long been tipped to make it in to the first team, although injury problems have disrupted his development a little. Yet he still looks one of the brightest defensive talents on the way through the ranks at Barca presently.
Juan Hernández and Dro Fernández

Juan Hernández and Dro Fernández appear on a similar trajectory at Barcelona currently. They were both called up to first-team training in May and received praise from Flick.
“Looking ahead to pre-season, we’ll see how things develop. What I saw from these lads in today’s session I really liked,” he told reporters in May.
There’s a good chance they could be part of the tour squad to Asia and are clearly on Flick’s radar as we head into another season with Barcelona.
