Manchester United teenager Jayden Ngwashi has reportedly snubbed interest from Premier League and European clubs to commit his future to Old Trafford. The rising star has penned a four-year deal amid concerns that he may be lost to a rival.
United have high hopes for 16-year-old Ngwashi. He played five times at Under-18 level last season and even made his Premier League 2 debut, appearing twice for the Red Devils' U21s. A four-time England U17 international, the centre-back also qualifies to play for Italy. His decision to commit his future to United is a major boost for [Ruben Amorim](https://www.express.co.uk/latest/ruben-amorim), who is hoping to bring young players through at Old Trafford.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Ngwashi rejected interest from English and European clubs. A four-year deal is a substantial contract length for a 16-year-old to sign. Professional terms come into effect when a player turns 17.
