Nottingham Forest will go in search of new players this summer, with the Reds keen to stock up ahead of a campaign playing in Europe.
Forest face a two-legged play-off in August, and if that proves successful, the team will enter a six-game group stage to try and reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Conference League.
Igor Jesus looks set to join Forest imminently, and the Botafogo striker won’t be the only new addition to the ranks before the transfer window closes in September.
Nuno Espirito Santo does like a streamlined squad, however, and any new players who come in will likely see some of the current depth options moved on to pastures new.
Ramon Sosa looks set to sign for Palmeiras for around £10 million and now another player who struggled for game time last season could also be on his way.

Sporting CP eye move for Forest winger Jota Silva
Silva started five games in the Premier League last season but was often more effective when coming into games from the substitutes’ bench.
According to Record in Portugal, Sporting CP are eyeing a move to sign Silva, with current boss Rui Borges having managed the Forest man when he was at Vitoria.
He’s keen to link back up with Silva and believes there is a genuine chance of him striking a deal to sign the versatile forward this summer.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Silva scored four goals for Forest last season, making 38 appearances in total across three different competitions.
However, he struggled to displace Callum Hudson-Odoi or Anthony Elanga, with the Portuguese performer not really in the same bracket when it came to consistency.
It’s not clear how much Forest will demand for Silva, but Sporting could soon have a bounty of cash to play with should Viktor Gyokeres move to the Premier League as anticipated this summer.
Forest would be wise to move Jota Silva on
Although Silva is only 25-years-old he hasn’t shown the levels of consistency that would see him warm to the Forest fan base, and his best performances have come far too sparingly.
Silva didn’t cost the club much at £5.9 million, and any profit that the club can make on his transfer would be a huge bonus for the club’s coffers.
Forest can attract better with European football on the table next season and the hope is that genuine competition can come in for Hudson-Odoi and Elanga on the flanks.
Silva is probably more suited to playing in a team like Sporting CP that dominates the majority of their games, and moving him on this summer looks like the best thing to do.
