Bayern Munich won 4-2 against Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup, securing their passage to the quarter-finals.
Once again, Bayern midfielder Palhinha was not used during the game. It has reached a point where he needs to make a decision on his future.
Palhinha has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and Fulham this summer, and he should consider a move to the Premier League if an offer comes to him.

After finishing 17th in the Premier League last season, Man Utd are looking for a major rebuild this summer under Ruben Amorim.
According to a report from GiveMeSport, the Red Devils are eyeing a loan move for Palhinha.
After signing Matheus Cunha, Man Utd are looking to sign a quality defensive midfielder, and Palhinha has been earmarked as a potential option.
Christian Falk informed CFBayern Insiderthat Bayern have set an asking price of £30m for Palhinha, who apparently wants to stay at the German club and fight for his place.
Sky journalist Kerry Hau further added that Palhinha’s potential exit cannot be ruled out if Bayern receive a good offer.
Palhinha was one of Fulham’s best players before he moved to Bayern in the summer of 2024. He knows the Premier League very well and would be a cracking signing for Man Utd.
Palhinha’s time at Bayern Munich looks over
While it is good to see that Palhinha wants to stay at Bayern, it does not appear that Vincent Kompany trusts him a great deal.
Bayern will probably sell him if they receive a decent offer. He is not in Kompany’s first-team plans and is most likely to continue struggling for game time next season.
In the Club World Cup, he played against Benfica, but couldn’t make a big impact. Moreover, Bayern had already qualified for the next round prior to that game.
He was unused against Flamengo, and this should hurt him. He is unlikely to start against Paris Saint-Germain in the next game as well.
It does not appear that his situation will change dramatically. Man Utd must use this opportunity to make a concrete offer, as he could be a realistic target for them.
