Manchester United will say goodbye to at least nine players after the close of play on Monday.
United are currently in the middle of the summer transfer window as they continue their preparations for the start of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign. Matheus Cunha has already been signed by United and the club are also working on a deal to bring Bryan Mbeumo to Old Trafford.
It remains to be seen what other players United will target before the transfer window closes on September 1.
When it comes to players leaving the club this summer, though, there are guaranteed to be at least nine players walk through the exit door.
United have already confirmed that Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen will all leave the club when their contracts expire on June 30, which happens to be today.
The trio will leave Old Trafford as free agents, where they will be able to sign for a new club from Tuesday (July 1).
There was also the possibility that Tom Heaton would leave United this summer with his original deal set to expire this summer.
It was confirmed earlier this month, though, that the experienced goalkeeper has signed a one-year extension to remain at United for another season.
As part of their retained list, United also confirmed that six academy stars would be leaving the club. Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan and Tom Wooster will all depart when their contracts expire by the close of play on Monday.
United also confirmed that Ashton Missin had been offered a new deal to extend his stay at the club. If a deal is not agreed then the young forward would also leave when his current contract expires.
