It is going to be a busy week at Man Utd as several contracts expire.

Manchester United will welcome a forgotten face back to the club tomorrow as they continue their rebuild in the summer transfer window. Ruben Amorim has already added Matheus Cunha to his first-team squad, while they remain confident Bryan Mbeumo will soon join him at Old Trafford.

Teenage defender Diego Leon is also set to complete his move to Manchester, while Enzo Kana-Biyik will join from Le Havre and Harley Emsden-James will join from Southampton. United will also officially say goodbye to all of the players who were named on their retained list, though Tom Heaton has since agreed a new one-year deal and Jonny Evans will stay at the club in a new youth development role.

United will also formally welcome back all of the players who left the club on loan last season, with defender Tyrell Malacia one of those due back at Carrington for pre-season training. The 25-year-old joined PSV Eindhoven on loan in the January transfer window but will return to Manchester after the Dutch club chose not to trigger their €10 million (£8.5m) option to buy him.

PSV confirm Malacia transfer decision

Manchester United will entertain offers for Tyrell Malacia this summer after PSV Eindhoven did not exercise their option to buy him permanently. The 25-year-old joined the Dutch club on loan earlier in the year but only played 385 minutes in the league as they went on to win the Eredivisie title.

Malacia has been deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Ruben Amorim and will be allowed to leave either on loan or permanently this summer. He is still expected to return to United training next week though after PSV formally confirmed they would not complete a full transfer.

A club statement read: "On July 1, the tenures of Tyrell Malacia and Rick Karsdorp at PSV will expire. Tyrell will return to Manchester United after his rental period, while Rick Karsdorp's expiring contract will not be renewed.

"Tyrell Malacia. PSV announced the arrival of Tyrell Malacia on loan from Manchester United on Feb. 4 this year. The 25-year-old winger made 12 appearances in PSV's first team. With the club he captured the first national title of his career. Rick Karsdorp. Rick Karsdorp will also leave Eindhoven after one season. The right back signed last summer after leaving AS Roma. Karsdorp played 20 official duels for PSV, providing two assists.

"PSV thanks the duo for their commitment and contribution to the club and wishes them success in the continuation of their careers."
