Arsenal have made Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike a “serious” option as they consider alternatives to both RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, according to reports in Germany.
The France Under 21 international has been heavily linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks, but Bild claim that the Gunners have emerged as a genuine contender to snap up the player.
Ekitike is valued at €100m (£85m) by Frankfurt, which would probably make him the most expensive of the three targets under consideration.
