Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been linked with a move to Everton this summer.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has assessed his lacklustre fitness record in recent seasons as he could switch clubs in the coming weeks.
The Nigeria international suffered a hamstring setback last season that kept him out for a few weeks.

Ndidi hamstring injury history may cause transfer issues
The Toffees or any club keen on signing the 28-year-old may take a closer look at his history of hamstring injuries, according to Dr Brar.
Everton are keen on signing Ndidi as he’ll be available for a bargain £9million fee, following the Foxes’ relegation to the Championship. (talkSPORT, 24 June)

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Ndidi: “Everton may take a closer look at his history of hamstring injuries, particularly with him suffering a significant one last season.
“He missed nearly two months because of it and has had long-term setbacks in the past, too.
“*Signing him despite that will be a risk any club knows they’ll be taking.*“

Everton must avoid signing Ndidi this summer
Everton must avoid signing Ndidi, given his injury issues.
While the Nigerian’s defensive tenacity and Premier League experience are appealing, his injury history raises concerns about reliability for a team already grappling with squad depth.
Everton’s midfield already offers sufficient cover in the defensive role Ndidi plays and someone better must be targeted to replace Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
While Ndidi has shown promise in the past and he even earned praise from Pep Guardiola, he’s no longer the same player.
In 2021, Guardiola was asked if he’s among the best defensive midfielders in the league, to which he said: “He is. You see all the players. Justin now is injured now unfortunately, for him, especially I am so sorry, but all of them have an amount of quality. Ndidi is doing really well.”
Financially, the Leicester City midfielder’s likely high wage demands and potential transfer fee, even on a cut-price deal, strain the Blues’ budget under the Profitability and Sustainability Rules.
Pursuing younger, versatile players or investing in existing squad development would better serve Everton’s long-term goal of building a competitive, sustainable Premier League side.
