Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is expected to leave the Serie A club this summer having spent last season on loan at Galatasaray

Napoli will reportedly invite Victor Osimhen for medical tests ahead of pre-season in July despite Manchester United continuing to be linked with the striker.
Osimhen has had an uncertain future in Italy since last summer when the forward was initially pushing for a move away from the Serie A club. Unfortunately for both parties, a combination of less than lucrative offers saw the Nigerian remain in Naples beyond the transfer window deadline.
This setback was to the advantage of Galatasaray who snapped up Osimhen on a season-long loan to avoid the forward sitting in Napoli's reserves. Osimhen went on to score 37 goals in Turkey which kept him linked with some major clubs.
Both United and Chelsea have been linked with his services but it was Al Hilal who have made the biggest play for him this summer. The Saudi Pro League club wanted to sign him before the Club World Cup after being rejected by Bruno Fernandes.
However, Osimhen rejected this deal and, with July around the corner, he is no closer to securing an exit. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A champions will invite the 26-year-old to a medical on either July 14 or 15 ahead of pre-season.
It is not yet clear if Osimhen will accept this invitation but it is seen as being in both parties' interests for him to attend. After that, the goal is believed to remain the same - find a suitor for the striker.

The report claims that Galatasaray are willing to do 'crazy' things to ensure Osimhen returns permanently. Meanwhile, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Al Hilal will return to make another bid but, at present, the forward is still no closer to making a transfer.
