Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is willing to offload Andre Onana on loan and sign a replacement this summer, journalist Alan Nixon has claimed.
The Portuguese tactician is reportedly keen on bringing in a new shot-stopper to Old Trafford in the remaining two months of the transfer window, as the door for Onana’s departure is open.
The 'world-class' Cameroonian goalkeeper struggled to convince between the posts last season, and United are inclined to sell him, preferably to a European club rather than a Premier League rival.
Ligue 1 side Monaco are believed to have held exploratory talks, but may find it difficult to afford Onana’s hefty wages, which reportedly stand at £200,000 per week.

According to Nixon, United are working on a replacement for Onana and have several potential options in mind, including Aston Villa shot-stopper Emiliano Martinez.
Although a top target, the 2022 World Cup winner would reportedly cost a significant fee, which has led United to explore cheaper alternatives, with Botafogo ace John Victor also a player of interest.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is believed to be open to a Premier League move this summer and is available for a bargain £6m.
Man United are prioritising attacking reinforcements at the moment, with a deal advancing to sign Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo.
The Red Devils have welcomed Wolves forward Matheus Cunha as their first summer arrival and are eyeing at least two more additions to their frontline, with Mbeumo expected to arrive alongside a new number nine.
United have recently been handed a blow by their top target Viktor Gyokeres, who is reportedly more inclined to join Arsenal this summer.
