Arsenal’s pre-season fixtures
Arsenal only have three pre-season fixtures in the diary, with two against Premier League rivals in Asia. They begin with two matches at Singapore’s National Stadium in late July, with Milan and Newcastle United their opponents.
This is followed by a north London derby in Hong Kong, which will see Mikel Arteta come face to face with Thomas Frank for the first time since his switch to Tottenham Hotspur.
It is thought that the Emirates Cup will return in the form of a one-off friendly at the Emirates Stadium in August, with Athletic Club previously touted as potential opponents, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
