West Ham attacker Mohammed Kudus has emerged as a top candidate for Tottenham this summer.
The Ghanaian winger has been a revelation since he joined from Ajax and the Hammers will be looking to make a hefty profit from his sale.
Kudus was even wanted by Saudi Arabian sides, but he’s not keen on moving to the Middle East in the coming weeks.

Tottenham want to end the unofficial transfer embargo with the Hammers
According to Matt Law in the Telegraph (30 June), Spurs, having secured Champions League football, are keen on Kudus.
They’re even open to lifting the “unofficial transfer embargo” that exists between the two clubs.

This came in when Daniel Levy pulled out of the deal at the last minute that would see Emmanuel Adebayor joining the Hammers.
He’s got a release clause of £85million, but Tottenham are optimistic they can secure his services for less than that.
The Irons are also open to cashing in on Kudus as they need the funds for a rebuild in this summer’s transfer window.

West Ham should sanction Kudus’ move to Spurs
While West Ham are reluctant to strengthen rivals Tottenham, selling Kudus could be a pragmatic move.
His 2024/25 season was underwhelming, a dip from his debut campaign, suggesting he struggled to adapt to Graham Potter’s system.
Club Appearances Goals Assists
Ajax 87 27 12
West Ham 80 19 13
Nordsjaelland 57 14 3
Kudus’ career stats.
A transfer fee exceeding £80million would provide Potter with substantial funds to rebuild the squad, targeting players better suited to his possession-based style.
Moreover, the 24-year-old has expressed a desire to join Tottenham, drawn by their attacking philosophy and Champions League prospects.
Forcing him to stay risks an unhappy player, potentially disrupting team morale and performance.
With West Ham’s mid-table position and need for squad investment, cashing in on Kudus could outweigh the drawbacks of strengthening a rival, allowing Potter to reshape the team effectively for a top-half push.
