Nottingham Forest have announced three friendlies as part of their pre-season programme for the upcoming campaign.
The Reds had already confirmed a meeting with Birmingham City on Saturday, August 2 (3pm kick-off). The game at St Andrew’s will be the Trevor Francis Memorial Match, in honour of the club great who died two years ago.
Forest have now announced they will take on Chesterfield, Fiorentina and Al Qadsiah ahead of the 2025/26 term. In total, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will play five games in the UK this summer.
The players are due back at the Nigel Doughty Academy to start pre-season next Monday (July 7). They will then head to the SMH Group Stadium to take on the Spireites a few days later, on Saturday, July 12 (2pm kick-off).
There will be a game the following week. However, the club say the opponent will be ‘announced in due course’.
After the fixture with the Blues, Forest will play Fiorentina at the City Ground on Tuesday, August 5 (7.45pm kick-off). They will be at the City Ground again for a meeting with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Qadsiah on Saturday, August 9 (5.30pm kick-off).

Announcing the games, the Reds added: “The B Team also return to The Nigel Doughty Academy in July, with their UK-based games including trips to Long Eaton United in mid-July, and Altrincham on 2 August. Both games will be open to supporters.
“At the training ground, Warren Joyce’s side will host Watford’s U21s, and a joint B Team and U18’s side will face Notts County U19s. Alongside the fixture against Notts County and the trip to Canada for the Kamloops Cup, Tom Mallinson’s U18s will face Ipswich at home and will travel to Hearts, both in July. A full schedule of fixtures for the Men’s First Team, B Team and U18s, as well as ticketing and streaming information for all games will be announced in due course.”
