The transfer market seems about to lift off at London Stadium. Whilst it isn’t a cause for celebration that [West Ham](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-transfer-options-shrink-as-two-horse-kudus-race-emerges/) are about to ship off one of their biggest assets, Mohammed Kudus is the Hammers most bankable asset and the player most likely to bring in funds for the summer rebuild. Kudus, whilst not pushing for a move, is widely reported as wanting Champions League football and that will be driving his desire to move on up and out.
Fair to say Graham Potter restored Kudus’ form after the fracas with Lopetegui and it now it appears , two weeks into the window, that the buyers are circling for West Ham’s Ghanaian.
In the know Journo [Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1939634324154024063) has taken to his twitter account in the last hour to confirm that Tottenham’s self imposed ‘Hammers transfer-exile’ seems to be on hold as the north Londoners are 100% after Kudus’ signature:
_“Tottenham have genuine interest in Mohammed Kudus and he’s high on the list for this summer….Initial contacts took place with his new agents while there are more clubs also involved. Kudus, open to Spurs talks”_
‘Other clubs also involved’ implying a level of urgency has entered the negotiations now – we know Chelsea were trying to secure a £50 million bid for Kudus which will no doubt go by the wayside as the gloves do seem to be off in the negotiations.
All of which means that the Hammers can start on their own plans for spending the Kudus money on their summer rebuild – more news of which follows with some tantalising exclusive news about our weekend story concerning the ‘Danish duo’ being London-stadium bound.
