New Brentford 2025/26 home kit ‘leaked’ as club celebrates shirt’s centenary

New leaks claim to have revealed Brentford’s new home shirt for the 2025/26 season ahead of release.

Brentford’s new home shirt for the forthcoming 2025/26 Premier League season appears to have been leaked online ahead of its official release, with new images appearing to show the jersey that the Bees will wear as they enter a new era under Keith Andrews.

Footy Headlines have shared images purportedly first revealed by social media user @brentford_pics, although the picture does not appear on that account’s X profile. The apparent leak has not yet been confirmed.

What Brentford’s new home kit looks like according to leak

The new jersey, the first to be manufactured by sportswear company Joma after the end of Brentford’s deal with Umbro, not only sticks to the club’s traditional red and white stripes but also marks a century since the club switched to their current colour scheme.

The back of the neck features the number 100, with the club having moved from plain white shirts to their familiar stripes in 1925. The new kit also features black detailing beneath the collar running down to the upper chest, as well as thin red stripes which are designed to accentuate the usual thicker ones.

If the leak proves to be accurate, then the jersey – which is set to be made using recycled polyester in order to reduce its environmental impact - doesn’t stray too far from the traditional Brentford template. This will be the first time that Brentford have changed their home jersey in two years due to the club’s decision, made five years ago, to use the same home and away shirts for consecutive seasons.

It is not yet clear whether that commitment remains under the terms of their new deal with Joma, which will see them be the only Premier League team outfitted by the Spanish company. If that is the case, then the club should reprise their pink away shirt from the 2024/25 campaign alongside the new home jersey.

Modest reviews greet new shirt as confirmation of leak awaited

The initial response to the leak has been muted, with a vote run by Football Kit Archive awarding the new shirt just three stars so far, suggesting that fans are broadly unimpressed with the fresh design.

According to Footy Headlines, we should get confirmation of the accuracy of the leak via an official launch by the club “soon”, but a precise date is not yet available. Until then, it remains uncertain whether the new leak is genuine, with several prior leaks relating to other teams’ new kits eventually proving to be false this summer.

Either way, the club are set for both a new look and a new beginning come to the start of the new season, with former set pieces coach Andrews taking charge following Thomas Frank’s move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The club are also expected to lose key players including Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Nørgaard in the transfer market, meaning that this will be a summer of change on a number of fronts and not solely in sartorial terms. The new era will kick off with an away trip to Nottingham Forest on 17 August.
