Chelsea and Man United are both in need of a new goalkeeper. They have one Polish keeper as common targets. But, they do have competition from several other clubs as the keeper was very impressive in the 2024/25 season.
Chelsea are prepared to move-on from Robert Sanchez this summer. The Spaniard committed multiple mistakes last season. As a result, the Blues are keen to replace him. They even tried to replace him with Mike Maignan before the start for Club World Cup. But, the deal failed due to transfer fee valuations.
On the other hand, United are also likely to sign a new keeper. Andre Onana has failed to impress at Old Trafford. The Cameroon international is keen to stay and fight for his spot. But, the decision will not fully depend on what he thinks. The Red Devils are already monitoring other options.
Chelsea & Man United both keen to sign Polish keeper
The star in question here is Marcin Bulka of OGC Nice. He is 25 year old Polish keeper who was superb in 2024/25 season. He played all 34 league games and kept 8 clean sheets. In addition, he made 121 saves with 74.7% accuracy.
According to Caught Offside, Bulka is wanted by both Chelsea and Man United. The report adds that Nice are ready to sell the 25 year old for around €20-25 million. But, there are several other clubs in race who are all impressed with the Polish star’s performances.
From England, Bulka is wanted by Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Leeds United and Sunderland. Outside of England, he has interest from AC Milan and Monaco. The player also had €20 million offer from Galatasary. But, Bulka rejected it as he wants to play in Europe’s top league. More clubs can be seen joining the race very soon.
