Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton is drawing interest from across Europe this summer.
And after impressing at the U21 European Championship with England, it should be no surprise. Morton was denied an exit from Liverpool last summer and kept around by Arne Slot as cover. But he barely featured under the Dutchman and didn't play a single minute in the Premier League.
Now, the expectation is that the 22-year-old will move on. Morton wants regular senior action moving forward as he looks to take the next step in his career, and he showed while playing for England U21s that he is more than ready for that.
According to The Times, Morton has interest from four clubs as things stand. The Liverpool academy graduate was chased by Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta a year ago, and is now said to be on the radar of Braga, West Ham, Club Brugges, and Ajax.
Staying in the Premier League could be appealing to Morton. Ajax, meanwhile, is now managed by Slot's former assistant coach, John Heitinga, who took charge of the Dutch giant a few weeks ago and knows Morton well.
Morton has previously been out on loan at Blackburn Rovers and Hull City in the Championship. But his level is clearly above that and he has a high level of technique.

Against Germany in the European Championship final, he assisted the winning goal for England U21s with a delightful cross into the box. It remains to be seen how much Liverpool would demand for his services, but the interest appears to be there.
Speaking before his injury in January, Morton made it clear that he wanted to play more often. "It’s been tough for me this season, minutes-wise," he said.
"I think I’ve handled it very well, I’ve kept my head down and have given everything every day. I think I do deserve the chance and hopefully people thought I took it.
"I think I had a good game and it was exciting, and when you don’t get many chances, you’ve got to take them, and I feel like I did today.

"This month is a big month for myself. It’s decision time, and I feel ready to kick on and be a proper professional, if that’s here or someone else. I need to be a bit selfish and go with however I feel."
In addition to Morton, fellow England U21 stars Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah are also likely to move on. The latter is closing in on a move to Bayer Leverkusen and undertook the first part of his medical earlier today.
Liverpool.com says: Morton is a really good player, but he just hasn't been able to get the minutes he needs. It would be no shock to see him move elsewhere and really excel. He has more than enough talent to succeed at a very high level.
