Browns Predicted to Trade Key Offensive Tool

The Cleveland Browns parted ways with the oft-injured running back, Nick Chubb, this offseason after seven seasons, 6,843 yards and 51 touchdowns.

The running back room was already fairly deep behind Chubb, with Pierre Strong, Jerome Ford, D'Onta Foreman and Jacob Kibodi on the roster.

But while the team has opted to let Chubb walk, they added an impressive piece in former Ohio State Buckeyes ball carrier Quinshon Judkins in the second round, and Tennessee Volunteers running back Dylan Sampson in the fourth.

It's because of that new depth that Factory of Sadness' Devon Platana thinks one of them will be expendable this offseason, and Platana predicts it'll be Ford.

"As excited as fans are to see what Judkins and Sampson can do, the rookie duo's presence likely spells bad news for veteran RB Pierre Strong Jr. With Jerome Ford also in the mix, it doesn't make sense to carry four RBs for that much longer, especially when the preseason amps up. Ford has some lead RB experience, while Sampson and Judkins could still have bright careers ahead of them, meaning it isn't hard to imagine a potential Strong trade happening," Platana wrote.

"RB-needy teams could be hungry to add another veteran pair of legs to their backfield, and a potential trade would see his entire $1.1 million cap hit come off the Browns' books."

Browns fans will no doubt be following the remainder of Chubb's career in Houston, and the same will be true of Ford if he leaves Cleveland.
