Chelsea make 27 year old available in market for£35 million

Chelsea have recently signed Joao Pedro from Brighton & Hove Albion. This will now accelerate the exit of 27 year old star. The Blues are ready to sell the player for £35 million this summer.

Chelsea have completed the signing of Joao Pedro from Brighton. The Brazilian has costed them around £60 million. But, the Blues now have to focus on selling some of their current players. They need to open up space and raise funds or else they may breach PSR.

The Blues are open to part ways with many of their attackers. One of them is Christopher Nkunku. He is 27 year old whom they signed in summer 2023. But, the French man has failed to establish himself as key player at Stamford Bridge. He has spent most of the time on bench and hence is keen to leave.

Chelsea ready to sell Nkunku for £35 million

According to The Metro, the Blues are ready to sell Nkunku for around £35 million. As Joao Pedro has been signed, the French man’s game time is now going to get reduced even further. Hence, a move away is most likely this summer.

The report adds that Nkunku has lot of suitors this summer. From England, he is linked with all Man United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Outside of England, he is still target for Bayern Munich who tried to sign him in January.

Nkunku has already been forcing to leave Chelsea. He is aware that he will not be able to play regularly at Stamford Bridge. He was very good at Leipzig but his form has dipped ever since moving to England. Infact, he has not been trusted at his natural position in West London. Hence, a move away from Chelsea is the only option to get his career back on track.
