Rockets Fans Baffled After Giannis Antetokounmpo Report

Houston Rockets fans are scratching their heads after a revealing segment on ESPN’s "Get Up," where insider Brian Windhorst shed light on the bleak situation surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks.

Windhorst explained that the Bucks “do not control their first-round pick for the next five years” and “can’t trade any of them,” essentially ruling out meaningful roster upgrades this offseason.

That lack of flexibility has raised doubts about Milwaukee's competitiveness moving forward.

Windhorst further noted that while Antetokounmpo hasn’t directly demanded a trade, his silence speaks volumes. “He has just basically done his regular offseason, gone overseas and been with his family,” Windhorst said, adding that Antetokounmpo hasn’t applied pressure on the front office this summer.

This has left several teams, like the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and Houston Rockets watching intently for signs of unrest.

Windhorst added, "They specifically have stayed out of other major transactions."

The Rockets recently agreed on a deal with the Phoenix Suns to acquire Kevin Durant. After such a blockbuster trade, waiting for Antetokounmpo appears surprising to every Houston fan.

"The Rockets have stayed out of major trades?" a fan posted.

"I guess the Kevin Durant trade was just the Rockets screwing around?" another wrote.

"Who is the Rockets giving up if they trade for Giannis," one joked.

"Idk feel like the Rockets made a pretty big trade a week ago lol," a fan wittily said.

"Yeah, the rockets haven’t made any major trades," another sarcastically worded.

"Love that we still can afford to go after Giannis even after KD," one commented.

"In what world have the Rockets not made any major trades?" a fan questioned.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has clearly expressed his desire to continue in Milwaukee. If not for the rest of his career, he is not leaving the Bucks for this upcoming season.
